The Autumn Season

For me autumn has always been a season of contemplation. I usually have so much fun in the summer that when autumn arrives, my soul goes into a shock, having to relearn how to cope with shorter daylight and spending longer hours indoors. I guess autumm prepares me for the grim winter that I don’t like at all but having said that, at least there is Christmas in December which I always look forward to.

Why am I writing all this? I think I miss the outdoors more now that ever. I am spending more time indoors and looking back at some photos taken last autumn in Regents Park reminded me how beautiful autumn is and it is not that bad, really. There are lots one can do in autumn. There’s Halloween in Oct., Bonfire night in Nov., Christmas markets leading up to Christmas and lots of opportunity to take beautiful photos of the golden hues that is only unique to the autumn season :)
