Someone wrote me an email yesterday sharing a link that streams TV and live Radio Stations to your desktop/laptop using your Broadband connection. It is UK Media Hub site so you will get to watch the BBC channels, ITV channel and news channel like Al Jazeera.
Here is what was written in the email:
http://www.easyonlinetv.com is a UK Media Hub Site that provides a selection of the best UK TV online and Internet Radio. There is also a Page that provides Links to all the Major UK Newspapers online. You will need a Media Player installed to connect with the streaming TV and live Radio Stations. And the best is – it’s all free!

hi kor kor..!! how are you? nice post.. i wonder, can i record TV from the internet too? if so, how would i go about it?
maRCus’s last blog post..today, i DIDN’T get fooled =)
What I am wondering is that if they are showing it for free. Can you embed a certain widget from the TV site that you can use to websites or blogs?
Busby’s last blog post..No More Google and Yahoo…
@marcus
I don’t think you can record TV programs that are streamed from the internet but you can record TV from Astro or connect your TV antenna to your PC via a Win TV card. The Win TV card will encode the program to mpeg format.
@Busby
I think it is possible. Essentially the data is a video feed and if the TV site is willing to share the feed, it is possible to code a widget that you can embed onto your website/blog.
YouTube and many video sites have done it.
