The Google Android Phone is called G1. The device was developed by mobile manufacturer HTC. G1 is the first device to run on Google’s mobile platform, Android.

G1 features include:

  • Touchscreen with drop-and-drag capabilities
  • Pull-out QWERTY keyboard
  • Web-based applications for maps, music and IM.

  • I read that it will be available for purchase this Christmas and will compete with iPhone. Would you like a G1 for Christmas? Best include it in your wishlist now. It will be cheaper than iPhone by $300.
