MCTS Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Configuration

I have been thinking of doing a Microsoft Certification on SharePoint. I am a software developer and therefore would be more interested in a SharePoint development certification but one should not over look the SharePoint configuration certification.

What is MCTS Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Configuration?
This certification certifies you as having the skill to install, configure and deploy SharePoint Server 2007. The certification will give you an understanding of SharePoint Server 2007, SQL Server 2000/2005 and .NET 2.0 as they relate to SharePoint Server 2007.

      It cost £88 to sit for the exam in the UK. Not sure how much it will cost in the US.

      I got my SharePoint Configuration MCTS in September. It helped me land my current job, so I am very happy that I took the test. I dove into everything SharePoint that I could get my hands on. I fell in love with it. Good luck.
