Most of the time people request to have their Microsoft Word document converted to Adobe Pdf but rarely the other way round. Recently there’s been a lot of discussion at work about a requirement to convert Pdf to Word. The discussion started when we moved our CRM reporting to use sQL reporting services and although SQL is a Microsoft product, it doesn’t have the functionality to export a report to Word. It only allows you to export to Excel, Pdf, XML, CSV, etc. but not Word!!!
There are third part products such as OfficeWriter by SoftArtisans that allows you to export SQL reports to Word but it will require spending time recreating my existing SQL report that exports perfectly to Pdf.
Anyway, I discovered two Windows desktop program that allows you to export any Pdf document to Microsoft Word.

There’s more flexibility in this product as it allows you to select part or whole document to convert. Converted layout is cleaner.
