Banner design for my blog

A few days ago I wrote a post on the importance of a WordPress theme. Today I attempted to create a few banners that I think will suit this website. I have not made any decisions yet, I am still getting used to using Photoshop CS2 and I have some other ideas that I would like to try out. I am putting up the banners for you readers to see and let me know what you think. Whether you like or hate it.

Well, I don’t really fancy in seeing red text on a black background

I’m in the process of changing my site’s design and a new banner too. I’m a developer just like you, so I guess designing is not really our cup of tea, unfortunately

Hi Michael

I chose orange colour for the text because I want it to match the RSS logo that is currently on my header.

I am asking my designer friend for advice and help to improve the design

Hey there,

My vote goes for number three. I like how it retains a mostly black background and the image just “hints” at technology. However, you may try changing that font color to the same blue that is used in the current header and see how that looks.
