Apple unveils the fastest Mac ever

Today Apple introduced the fastest Mac ever, the new Mac Pro with Eight Processor Cores standard. Apple claims that the new Mac Pro has phenomenal performance – up to 2x faster than the previous standard Mac Pro and it is a force to be reckoned with.

Overview of specification.
1. Up to 2x faster than previous standard-configuration Mac Pro
2. Comes with Intel’s latest Quad-Core Intel Xeon “Harpertown” processors at fast speeds up to 3.2GHz and based on the new 45-nm Intel Core Micro-architecture. It is able to deliver the performance and maintains energy efficiency.
3. Huge amount of L2 cache (12MB per processor)
4. With the fastest Xeon architecture available, the new Mac Pro features 1600MHz dual independent frontside buses.
5. Smarter memory – incorporates a 256-bit-wide, fully buffered memory architecture.
6. All-new high-performance graphics cards from ATI and NVIDIA and PCI 2.0 interface technology.
7. Comes with four 3.5-inch internal hard drive bays, internal storage up to 4TB and ready to RAID
8. Double-layer burner X 2
9. Mac OSX Leopard, first universal OS to seamlessly support both 64-bit and 32-bit applications. Leopard is Unix compliant and supports multicore and multithread.

And the Tower of 8-core power is selling at $2,799.00. Would any PC that can match up to new Mac Pro please stand up
