Apple to launch iPhone in Japan in the new year

Report suggests that Steve Jobs has been in discussion with Japan’s NTT Docomo about the possibility of launching iPhone in Japan next year. Japan is the second largest economy in the world after US and it is an attractive market for Apple.

Statistics show that there are nearly 100 million mobile phone users in Japan who buys new mobile phones every two years. Apple has also indicated that the iPhone release in Japan will be the next version of iPhone that will supports 3G for faster internet surfing.
