LinkedIn announced service for developers

It is finally happening. LinkedIn, the social network for professional will open up its service today to software developers to develop application for the LinkedIn service. LinkedIn is one of the adopters of OpenSocial API. The first software developer creating apps for LinkedIn is BusinessWeek magazine.
