UN teams up with Google and Cisco Systems to fight poverty

The United Nations is using technology to track world development efforts to fight poverty. UN has teamed up with Google and Cisco systems to launch a web site to allow users to explore places where work is done to fight poverty. U. N. will use Google Earth's maps and satellite images and give users the experience to fly around the globe to learn more about their current project around the world. The United Nations goal is to cut poverty by half. It is reported that the budget for the website project is $200,000.
